I never really cared about it. Was just living it. Sometimes as i want and sometimes as how others want me to live. To be honest, i feel i have never lived it to the fullest. May be because i never felt how lucky i am to be still alive, to have another day to fullfill my dreams, to have another day to see my loved ones. I guess i was always consistent about one thing and that is NAGGING about my life.
Until one day i saw a picture of a plane crash with a quote -- " Start living today, there might be no tomorrow "
It touched me so deeply that i started wondering what if there is no more tomorrow for me. Am i satisfied to die today. Have i lived my life the way i wanted.
I started recollecting my thoughts from where my journey started and to be honest the jouney started on a good note as i am blessed to have an amazing family, who never dictated my life but were always their to guide. They told what is right and what is wrong and left the decision to me to choose wisely. They told me that there will be times when they might disagree with my choices in life but that shouldn't stop me, bcoz if given a choice they won't lead their life my way. Rather they would risk taking their own decisons, right or wrong but their decisions. Their is no obligation to live your life according to us as we haven't lived ours as per yours.
They also told me that there is no guarantee of you having an amazing life if we are the decision maker of your life but it will definately be a good one, if you choose what makes you feel good.
We will be always be their to give you suggestions when needed but remember we can be wrong and you can be right too. So, do what you feel is right.
Let your life be more of failures than success but you will be content and happy if those were your choices. Be happy that you took risk to try rather than regretting that you never tried. Thanks to my family for being so thoughtful.
But their are lot of parents who dominate their kids life by saying its for your good but the fact is they want a complete control of their life by not letting you control yours. And some times it can be your friends, your siblings or anyone however at the end, its your call - " To lead or let someone lead you"
I have realised i haven't lead my life to the fullest and i am the one responsible for it bcoz many a times i have also made the mistake of letting others decide for me. So, here's what i am going to do-
"I will sit on the front seat with steering wheel in my hand, shifting the gear and ready to go for an amazing and fullfilling journey called Life where i choose the road ahead."
God has sent us to write a beautiful and unique story of ours, don't let someone make you doing a guest appearance in that 😬😬
If this thought of mine made any difference to the ones who can relate. Make the change. Its never too late to start a fresh and you can never be wrong to do the right thing.
